Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submitting a manuscript to Contemporary Accounting Perspectives (CAP), authors must ensure that all submission requirements, formatting rules, ethical declarations, and required files have been completed.
Submissions that do not comply with the checklist may be returned to the author(s) for correction or may be rejected before peer review.
Before Submission
The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal, publisher, or academic platform.
The manuscript is relevant to CAP’s aims and scope.
The manuscript has been prepared using the CAP Manuscript Template.
The manuscript is written in English and has been checked for grammar, clarity, academic style, and readability.
Manuscript Requirements
The manuscript includes a clear title, abstract, and keywords.
The main text is complete, structured, and prepared according to the journal format.
Tables, figures, and visual materials are numbered, titled, cited, and placed appropriately.
References and in-text citations are prepared according to APA 7th edition style.
Required Declarations and Forms
The Ethics Declaration Form has been completed and is ready to be uploaded during submission.
The Copyright and License Agreement Form has been completed and is ready to be uploaded during submission.
All actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest have been declared.
Any use of artificial intelligence tools has been declared where applicable.
Ethical and Legal Requirements
Authors must ensure that the manuscript complies with CAP’s publication ethics policies, plagiarism policy, conflict of interest policy, AI usage policy, copyright and licensing policy, and other relevant journal policies.
Where applicable, ethics committee approval, institutional permission, participant consent, or other legal and ethical permissions must be obtained before submission and declared in the manuscript or relevant forms.
Submission File
The manuscript file must be uploaded in an editable format, preferably Microsoft Word. Supplementary files, forms, datasets, or additional documentation should be uploaded separately where required.
