Authors who publish with Contemporary Accounting Perspectives (CAP) retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
By submitting a manuscript to CAP, authors agree that, if the manuscript is accepted for publication, the journal has the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, archive, index, preserve, and distribute the work electronically and/or in print.
Unless otherwise stated, articles published in CAP are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits use, sharing, distribution, and reproduction in any medium or format, provided that the original work is properly cited.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use copyrighted materials, figures, tables, images, datasets, or any other third-party content included in their manuscripts.
The author(s) must complete and upload the Copyright and License Agreement Form during the submission process. This form confirms author responsibility, copyright ownership, first publication rights, open-access publication, and licensing terms.
CAP supports open-access publishing and aims to promote the wide dissemination, visibility, and accessibility of scholarly knowledge.
